How does it all work?

  • SQUAT

Squats will be performed with a squat bar and imperial weight plates in a Monolift. The lifter will signal the ref and spotters to open the Monolift. The lifter will then squat to boxes set to a height that is set to depth for each lifter. The lifter will then stand back up and display control and wait for the “rack” command.

  • BENCH

The bench press will be performed in a competition bench using a power bar and standard plates. The lifter will unrack the bar with or without a lift-off and descend towards their chest at their discretion. Once they have touched their chest, the bar must come to a complete stop before pressing the bar up. Once the bar is to the top and elbows are locked, the ref will give the rack command.

During the lift, the competitors feet must remain flat and their butt can not leave the bench.

Gear allowed: Wrist wraps, belts, elbow sleeves

  • Deadlift

The lifter will be required to wear LONG SOCKS or knee sleeves lowered to their shins. They then, may grab the bar using any grip and straps. They will then lift the bar conventionally until they are in an upright position. After the down command they will lower the bar under control.
